Vacancy – Head of Residential Conveyancing
Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licenced Conveyancer to lead our Residential Conveyancing team.
Main Duties and Requirements
To undertake and administer all aspects of residential conveyancing work and to oversee the day to day running of a busy Residential Conveyancing Department in a long-established North East firm.
Based in our Hartlepool office, you should be capable of working unsupervised, have experience of managing your own caseload within high volume conveyancing and be able to confidently manage the support staff within the Residential Conveyancing team.

You will be able to undertake and supervise all aspects of residential conveyancing and property work and be able to supervise and manage a team.

You must have excellent IT skills including experience of working with Case Management Systems.

You will have excellent organisational skills and file management skills, and be able to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.

You will have good interpersonal, communication and client care skills and be able to develop and maintain strong relationships with third parties such as estate agents and financial advisors.

You will possess good risk management skills, and experience of complying with regulatory requirements such as money laundering and data protection and be able to oversee and maintain the firm’s CQS accreditation membership of lender panels.

You will be willing to undertake home visits and appointments at our branch offices as and when required.
