#LEJOGAH UPDATE - Absolutely Amazing !

Smith and Graham are so proud to be sponsoring the team kits for #LEJOGAH, the committment and dedication of everyone involved in this worthy cause is absolutely outstanding!

Hartlepool lad Lee Dodgson, in his bid to run 827 miles from Lands End to John O'Groats in 16 days aid of Alice House Hospice, is aiming to raise £40,000 for the hospice, and fundraising levels have recently hit £26,000.

After more than a week on the roads, having to deal with sadly losing his original team mate John Hewitson from the challendge due to a serious leg injury, battling injuries himself and awful weather conditions, Lee has made it into Scotland! Many friends and supporters have travelled hundreds of miles to run alongside Lee for a day and keep his spirits up.

A surprise visit by Lee's parents left followers and supporters across Facebook and other social platforms extremely emotional. Lee is managing to spend some time with his wife Claire over the next few days, hotels with comfortable beds across Scotland having been arranged by family and friends.

Today's Facenook update read  "7.30am start on day 10 of #LEJOGAH, spirits and morale are high after a good day yesterday despite the long climb from Kendal to Shap. A big thank you to Alan Robson from Seymours and Andrew Drummond who came along and ran with Lee on what was a very challenging first half of the day.  A special mention goes to John Stubbs who ran all day Sunday, finished like a buckled wheel, yet still gave his all yesterday!"

To recruit or pledge more support for Lee, contact Greg Hildreth at Alice House Hospice on 01429 855529.
